The MotorGuide Xi3-55 FW 54 ″ SNR / GPS electric motor is a novelty of 2018, which continues the MotorGuide tradition of producing quality and powerful electric motors.
All MotorGuide Pinpoint GPS electric motors can “anchor” at the specified point (spot lock), move along the specified “heading lock” vector, including at the specified speed – Cruise control. In addition to them, you can also program a foot control (Optional equipment) and several control panels. The standard remote has 8 memory locations where you can set your preferred anchor locations (these can also be programmed from the echo sounder by selecting specific locations if the motor is connected to Lowrance). Also, these motors are ready for a visit on the specified route or ordered route.
The engine leg is 54 inches long (137 cm) and is carved out of composite material and virtually illegible.
The xi3 trolling motors are categorized by their power / voltage length and legs. When choosing a specific electric motor, you should take into account the characteristics of the boat, for example, length, height of the sides (under the influence of the leg and “sail”), the weight of the boat, the user’s angulation and other habits. 55 Lb / 12 V motors are usually chosen for boats no longer than 4.5-5 m, and for long boats 70 Lb / 24V motors or more powerful are usually installed.
